Come and join the team at Frances Perry House.  We are seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to lead the Antenatal and Surgical Ward, Maternity Care Centre, and Antenatal Education services.  Our staff care for women following gynaecology Uro -gynaecology, Gynae oncology and breast cancer surgery.  We also provide care to patients undergoing plastics surgery.  Our obstetric patients include high risk antenatal patients.

This opportunity will see you joining our Surgical and Maternity teams, this is a fantastic opportunity to further develop and grow your career in a leadership position by providing excellent clinical support and guidance to all members of the team.

The role will encompass, but is not limited to:

  • Accountability for the efficient and effective management of all human and material resources
  • Be a positive mentor and provide clinical leadership and support to your team
  • Assist in shaping organisational strategy, improve procedural service provision and achieve departmental and Hospital strategic objectives.

 

Your Skills and Experience

You thrive on problem solving, fostering a positive and supportive culture, and providing dedicated and specialised advice to your team members.

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA Must be Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife
  • Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience 
  • Experience in Women’s health
  • Post-graduate studies in management qualifications will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in management desirable

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
  • Must be a Level 3 with RANZCOG certification
