About the Role
This full-time position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional service. You will play a vital role in supporting both clinical teams and administrative operations to ensure the hospital runs smoothly and efficiently.
In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support across various functions, including:
- Patient and client admissions and management.
- Preparation and maintenance of patient documentation.
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Supporting departmental financial processes and asset management programs.
- Responding to queries from patients, staff, and visitors.
About You
You are a proactive and enthusiastic team player who can multitask and adapt in a busy healthcare environment.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an administrative role (essential).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and service delivery focus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- A flexible and collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Desirable
- Experience in healthcare or hospital administration.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Familiarity with patient management systems (e.g., Meditech).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.

Remuneration: A base hourly rate of $34.61 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (Clerk - Grade 4 Year 1 RHC QLD Clerical Enterprise Agreement)
Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
