National Training, Audit & Accreditation Manager – Ramsay Research Network
All Australian locations open to apply | Full Time
Ramsay Health Care is Australia’s largest private hospital operator, with over 70 hospitals, clinics and day surgery units, admitting more than one million patients annually. As part of its commitment to advancing healthcare beyond direct patient care, Ramsay has established a robust Research Network through the Ramsay Hospital Research Foundation. Our network spans some 16–20 dedicated clinical trial units across multiple states, underpinned by standard operating procedures, consistent governance and a clear mission: to deliver high-quality, ethically governed research that improves patient outcomes and strengthens healthcare delivery.
We are looking for a National Training, Audit & Accreditation Manager to join the Ramsay Research Network and play a pivotal role in ensuring our clinical trial sites deliver excellence across training, quality and compliance. Reporting to the Director of Research & Development, this national role will oversee the development and delivery of training programs, lead internal audit processes and support hospital accreditation across our 25 sites. With a focus on building capability, embedding best practice and driving continuous improvement, you’ll work closely with the Site Operations Manager, Clinical Trial Managers and hospital executives to position our network as a leader in clinical research.
About you
You will bring strong experience in clinical trial site operations within a hospital environment, with a proven background in training, audit and accreditation. A natural communicator and collaborator, you thrive on developing high-performing teams, engaging stakeholders and applying rigorous compliance methodology. Your ability to balance operational oversight with a commitment to continuous improvement will see you succeed in this critical role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and deliver national training programs for clinical trials and research staff.
- Coordinate and lead internal audits across the Ramsay Research Network.
- Partner with site teams to ensure hospital accreditation compliance under the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework.
- Work with the Site Operations Manager to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement programs.
- Collaborate with hospital executives, clinical governance and external stakeholders to uphold the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in clinical trial site operations and delivery within a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of audit and accreditation processes, preferably in healthcare.
- Proven ability to design and deliver training programs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Sound knowledge of clinical practice requirements, preferably in a clinical trials setting.
This role will require some national travel (approximately once a month) and offers a rare opportunity to shape training, quality and accreditation processes across a large, high-performing research network.
What’s in it for you?
- An extensive benefits package that recognises and rewards your valuable contributions, while supporting your overall well-being.
- Enhance your career trajectory through a wealth of professional development initiatives and clearly defined pathways for advancement, empowering you to realise your full potential within our organisation.
- Enjoy access to a premier rewards platform that offers exceptional discounts and privileges from renowned retailers, enriching your lifestyle both personally and professionally.
- Embrace the opportunity to drive transformative change in the delivery of high-quality healthcare services, making a significant contribution to the evolution of our industry for the better.
