About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our supportive Allied Health team at John Flynn Private Hospital. Our team provides a broad range of services including dietetics, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, social work, and speech pathology.
In this role, you will play an important part in supporting inpatients by providing high-quality care and working closely within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload including orthopaedics, spinal surgery, medical/reconditioning, and neurology.
- Deliver evidence-based therapy across inpatient and acute care settings, for both individuals and groups.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining the ability to manage cases independently.
- Support patients by assessing and addressing functional needs, equipment, and services in the hospital setting.

You will also bring:
- Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
- Ability to effectively plan, implement, and evaluate rehabilitation programs.
- Flexibility to work across acute inpatient areas.
- Experience in a hospital setting (highly regarded, but not essential).
- Strong ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.
- High standard of patient care.
- Current Driver’s Licence.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
