About the Role

An exciting and dynamic opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Group Therapist with relevant training to deliver evidenced-based group therapy.

This is a unique role requiring experience across many therapies. The individual will need a diverse skill level working with patients individually, within an inpatient group setting, and the capacity to facilitate outpatient groups.

You will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

 

About you

You will have the ability to plan and organise skills groups, along with a commitment to excellence in the delivery of healthcare services to patients seeking mental health treatment. To succeed in this role, you will be a motivated and flexible team player with a high degree of professionalism.

  • Training and experience in therapy modalities (CBT, DBT, ACT);
  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Able to plan, organise and facilitate skills groups.
  • Skill in engaging and supporting clients with severe mental health conditions.
  • Commitment to excellence in the delivery of healthcare services to people seeking mental health treatment.

Requirements
