We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join us at our Mt Wilga Rehabilitation Hospital and Strathfield Private Hospital. You can come on board full-time, or if you're looking for part-time work, you'll have the flexibility to focus on whichever site suits you best. It's entirely up to you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
As the WHS Coordinator, you’ll take the lead on WHS across your facilities, working closely with the National Safety Team and the facility Executive Team to foster a strong, proactive safety culture.
Key responsibilities include:
• Embedding and maintaining the Ramsay safety management system, templates, and documentation.
• Investigating incidents and implementing solutions to minimise future risks.
• Conducting risk assessments, site audits, and workplace safety training.
• Developing and maintaining effective safety practices.
• Preparing and presenting safety performance reports for internal stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need
• Tertiary qualifications in WH&S (Minimum of a Cert IV in WH&S).
• Experience in Work Health and Safety, preferably within the health industry or a large organisation
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams at all levels.
• A proactive and highly organised approach to managing multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent planning, time management, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Full Australian work rights, a current Police Check & proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
What You’ll Be Paid:
Your base annual salary will be between $110,000 and $115,000, plus superannuation. This is based on your experience and qualifications for a full time role and does not include any penalties or allowances.
