The Opportunity
This is a casual role facilitating Ramsay Clinic Thirroul’s Day Programs and Inpatient Programs. The applicant needs to have demonstrated confidence in group facilitation and engagement of patients across age groups.
You will also be participating in the ongoing development of these programs and working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support all patients under these unique programs.
There is flexibility with days and there may be a requirement for set days due to these programs being existing and current.
Skills and Experience
You will have the ability to plan and organise trauma and skills groups, along with a commitment to excellence in the delivery of healthcare services to patients seeking mental health treatment, will also be key to all these positions.
You will need to demonstrate:
- Accredited undergraduate degree in Psychology, with APHRA registered and unrestricted general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia or equivalent.
- APHRA registered as a Mental Health Nurse or eligibility with AASW Social Work
- Training and experience facilitating group therapy using different therapeutic modalities which include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and/or Schema Therapy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be self-motivated and function autonomously whilst also being able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to facilitate and deliver skill group content with creativity and flexibility
- Able to plan, organise and prioritise workload in a complex therapeutic environment
- Familiar with Microsoft Suite
