The Opportunity

Our Physiotherapists work within a supportive team of professionals, passionate about providing the best quality care for patients. You will be responsible for providing high quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and discharge planning across admitted services at Mt Wilga Private Hospital.

This position offers the opportunity to work across both Inpatient and Day Program therapy services. Our team prides itself on exceeding Ramsay’s high standard of care with a professional and positive attitude by creating a friendly, caring and comfortable environment for its patients.

Reporting to the Inpatient Allied Health Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset and a passion for exceptional patient-focused service and achieving excellent clinical outcomes. You will thrive in an outpatient environment, demonstrate high-level communication skills and enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team who is committed to upholding and promoting the Ramsay Way core values.

You must bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum one (1) years of physiotherapy experience working in a hospital setting
  • Ability to effectively assess, plan and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment programs
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage caseload demands
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
  • Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice  

 

Remuneration

On offer is base hourly rate of $38.26 - $59.62 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
