About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Nurse with a strong background in Respiratory and Infectious Diseases to join our Ward 31 team. This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while developing their leadership skills in a supportive and progressive environment.

As a Clinical Nurse, you will:

  • Lead and support a skilled team to provide safe, high-quality, evidence-based care.
  • Champion patient safety initiatives, particularly in infection prevention and control (IPC).
  • Oversee and maintain best-practice IPC standards that promote excellent clinical outcomes and a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Mentor and develop team members, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

About You
You are a motivated and compassionate nurse who values collaboration, excellence, and patient-centred care.

You will bring:

  • Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Respiratory or related specialties
  • Proven leadership, clinical judgement, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to maintaining high infection prevention and control standards

Requirements

  • Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
