About the Role
You will work in a highly skilled and progressive team supporting Health Care Managers across Ramsay’s Western Australia sites to onboard their new team members and assist with making requested changes in existing roles through our Change Job process.
As a WA based HR Officer, you will be working closely with local leaders while being backed by a supportive national People Operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete relevant pre-employment checks of preferred candidates
- Generate new employee contracts and existing employee contract variations adhering to relevant WA Enterprise Agreement and Awards
- Provide expert advice and coordinate the contracting process for successful candidates using our current recruitment portal
- Ensure a positive candidate experience from offer to onboarding
- Maintain confidential employee/payroll records/documentation
- Support managers with on boarding their new employees
- Advising managers on policies, Enterprise Agreements and Awards
- Provide HR systems support and guidance to Hiring Managers and executives
Essential Skills and Experience
- Recent experience within a similar Human Resource Officer role
- a HR or equivalent tertiary qualifications (or working towards)
- A positive and engaging style where you put people first in everything you do
- Have the confidence and initiative to work autonomously
- Experience working within the healthcare industry and an understanding of its unique compliance and operational requirements is highly desirable.
- Demonstrate excellent time management and prioritisation skills to manage competing deadlines effectively.
- An outcome focused attitude and a consistent commitment to ongoing process improvement
- Accurate data entry skills and an ability to identify and escalate issues as they arise
- A passion for multi-tasking and enjoy a busy, stimulating work environment
Desirable:
- Previous exposure to HR systems and tools, particularly Workday, PageUp or Smart Recruiters and Chris21
