About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Nurse to join our dynamic perioperative Recovery team. As the Clinical Nurse you will be required to act as a professional resource, passionate mentor, and role model to junior team members. Also key to this role is working collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager in the implementation of quality improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a positive role model and mentor, fostering a supportive and collaborative team culture.
  • Demonstrate highly developed communication skills with a strong patient- and customer-focused approach.
  • Work in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager to ensure the department operates safely, efficiently, and in line with best practice standards.

 

About You

You will also bring.

  • Relevant registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum three (3) years’ post graduate experience in area of speciality.
  • Hold a relevant post graduate qualification or is working towards.
  • Ability to act as a positive role model with excellent communication and delegation skills.
  • Proven ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient.
  • Advanced understanding of ANMC competencies as per nursing registration.

 

Remuneration: On offer $54.72- $58.82+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4).

Requirements 

  • Must provide or complete aNational Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
