The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity for a psychologist to join our team to provide both individual intervention and facilitate therapy group sessions for inpatient and day patient therapy programs.

The applicant needs to have demonstrated confidence in group facilitation and engagement of patients across age groups. You will also be participating in the ongoing development of these programs and working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support all patients participating in these unique programs.

About You

You are a motivated and compassionate clinician. You have the confidence and creativity to facilitate therapeutic groups and the professionalism to manage complex clinical needs within a dynamic team setting.

You will also demonstrate:

• A recognised undergraduate and post graduate qualifications in Psychology
• AHPRA registration with unrestricted general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
• Demonstrated experience in group facilitation and patient engagement
• Strong clinical judgement, organisational, and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong team player

Remuneration

A base hourly rate ranging from $45.16 - $62.81 + superannuation + applicable penalty rates. Based on experience level and qualifications (QLD Health Professionals Grade 1.2 – 2.5)

Requirements

• Provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the last 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
