Payroll Officer — Hybrid (4 Days from Home, 1 Day in Office) Permanent | Full-Time | Great Culture & Benefits

Are you an experienced Payroll Officer who loves accuracy, problem-solving and supporting people? Join our high-performing Payroll team and help deliver exceptional payroll services in a supportive, collaborative and growth-focused environment. 
In this role, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end processing of payroll, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance, and providing outstanding customer service to employees and stakeholders. You’ll work closely with HR, Finance, IT and other teams to support seamless payroll operations and continuous improvement

What You’ll Do 
 
• Process payroll accurately and on time, including wages, overtime and adjustments 
• Maintain and reconcile payroll records and resolve discrepancies 
• Ensure compliance with legislation, awards and company policies 
• Prepare reports and payroll documentation 
• Provide timely and professional support to employees with payroll queries 
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and broader payroll team members to improve processes 
 
What You’ll Bring 
 
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in end-to-end payroll processing (Chris21 preferred) 
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax and award interpretation 
• Experience with payroll/HRIS systems (e.g., Chris21, Kronos, Workday) 
• High attention to detail, problem-solving ability and confidentiality 
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills 
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment 
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables desirable)
