Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and step into a pivotal leadership role within our 28-bed Medical/Surgical Respiratory Ward (Ward 4F) at Pindara Private Hospital. This specialised unit delivers high-quality care to patients with acute respiratory and complex medical conditions.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity (56 hours per fortnight).

In your role as Clinical Nurse, you will work in close partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager to support efficient resource utilisation, uphold best-practice clinical standards, and provide mentorship and guidance to nursing and clinical support staff. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior nurse seeking to further develop their leadership capabilities in a supportive, professional environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support nursing and clinical support staff in the perioperative setting.
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and problem-solving within your specialty.
  • Assist in planning and implementing policies, procedures, and quality initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of safety, risk management, and infection control compliance.

You will also have the following:

  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated clinical problem-solving abilities and risk minimisation.
  • Demonstrated high level of clinical competence in area of speciality.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a medical/respiratory ward.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and support others.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality and infection control processes.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with customers and co-workers.

 

Remuneration: $54.72 - $58.82 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4).

Requirements

  • Must provide or complete a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
