About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and organised Receptionist to join our friendly team, with part-time or full-time opportunities available.
In this role, you will play a key part in the smooth operation of our clinical services. You will be responsible for welcoming patients, supporting them throughout their appointment journey, coordinating bookings, processing accounts, and responding to general enquiries. As the first point of contact, you will provide a professional, friendly, and reassuring experience for both patients and staff.
Our clinic delivers a range of allied health services to the local community, including Psychology, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, and more.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients and families and managing the admission and discharge process.
- Handling phone calls and responding to enquiries from patients, visitors, and staff.
- Preparing and maintaining patient documentation and clinical notes.
- Supporting accounts payable/receivable, cash handling, and banking functions.
About You
You are an organised and proactive professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. With strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others, you can confidently support patients, families, and colleagues while ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
You’ll bring to the role:
- Previous administration experience, ideally in healthcare or a customer-focused setting.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner.
- A collaborative mindset and a positive, can-do attitude.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Prior experience in medical reception or as a ward clerk (highly regarded).
