About the Role

The Avenue Private Hospital is seeking experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Scout Nurses to join our friendly team. Reporting to the theatres Nurse Unit Manager, you will work with the support and guidance of the surgical Team to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered.

 

Your skills and experience 

To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in orthopaedics. Your understanding of scope of practice and positive attitude will enable you to work effectively alongside our team of professionals and independently as required.

In addition, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to care for our patients in line with our Ramsay core values.

 

Essential:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years relevant nursing experience in an acute care setting
  • Experience in orthopaedics will be highly regarded
  • Excellent understanding of infection control principles
  • Willing to work in a cohesive and caring team.

 

Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $36.13 - $ 49.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC RN/Midwife gr1-gr8)

Requirements
