We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Instrument Technician to join our Central Sterilising Services Department (CSSD). This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment where quality, safety, and teamwork are paramount.
About the Role
As an Instrument Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting surgical services by ensuring all surgical instruments and medical devices are cleaned, assembled, sterilised, and available on time for patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Essential:
- Previous CSSD experience,
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills,
- Strong attention to detail and strong task orientation,
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required,
- Commitment to continuous improvement and the achievement of excellence.
Desirable:
- Certificate III in Health Service Assistance (Sterilisation Services)
- Flexibility in working at other sites or departments when required.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
