Join our dedicated Perioperative Clinical Education Team at Greenslopes Private Hospital as a Clinical Facilitator on a permanent, full-time basis.
In this role, you will provide education, mentorship, and clinical expertise to nursing staff within our expanding Gastroenterology/Day Procedure Unit, supporting excellence in patient care under the guidance of the Perioperative Clinical Nurse Educator.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Delivering education plans for the provision of the highest standards of patient care.
- Facilitating department-based training and conducting clinical competency assessments.
- Providing hands-on clinical support to our nursing teams and fostering a positive learning culture.
You are an experienced Registered Nurse with strong organisational and communication skills, a passion for education, and the flexibility to meet a range of learning needs throughout the gastroenterology/day procedure environment unit.
Essential criteria:
- Relevant Nursing Registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse working in the perioperative environment.
Desirable criteria:
- Previous experience in an education role (advantageous).
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (TAE40116).
- Postgraduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing or Education (or working towards).
