We are looking for experienced Orthopaedic Scrub/Scout nurses to join our vibrant, friendly and enthusiastic perioperative team, where teamwork, learning and high-quality patient care are at the heart of everything we do.

Ramsay Private at Joondalup Health Campus is our new state of the art Private Procedural Suite, consisting of 4 operating theatres and 2 procedural rooms.

The Opportunity

Joondalup Health Campus is seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Clinical Nurse to become part of our new Perioperative Department.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and mentorship, confident across all arthroplasty procedures, and motivated to support, guide and develop junior staff in a positive, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and uphold high clinical standards within the perioperative department, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care at all times
• Coordinate and deliver quality nursing care in line with organisational policies, procedures, and the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards
• Actively contribute as a supportive and collaborative team member in clinical decision-making
• Provide strong clinical leadership by role-modelling best practice and professional behaviour
• Foster and maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful team culture within the department

About You

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring strong perioperative clinical skills, with proven experience as an Orthopaedic Scrub/Scout nurse.

You are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and feel confident working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment. With a genuine patient-first approach, you build positive relationships and contribute to a supportive, collaborative workplace.

You will have:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent perioperative experience as a scrub/scout nurse, predominantly in orthopaedic surgery.
• Demonstrated experience scrubbing for a variety of arthroplasty systems, including robotic assisted arthroplasty.
• Proven experience in orthopaedic trauma surgery.
• Well-developed problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to demonstrate clinical leadership
• Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
• Highly organised with a proven ability to manage emergency situations
• Demonstrates strong adaptability in dynamic situations
• Exhibits effective decision making in real time
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• Current Registration with AHPRA as a Division 1 Registered Nurse

Remuneration: On offer is base annual salary ranging from $102,387.90 - $108,784.58 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)

Requirements
