Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking for a role where your skills make a real impact? Join Peninsula Private Hospital and be part of a team that keeps our facility running smoothly while delivering excellent service to staff, patients, and visitors.

 

About the Role

This role will also see you direct and manage the work of maintenance contractors, participate in an afterhours on call roster and ensure all maintenance duties and responsibilities are kept up to date.

Working with a collaborative and supportive team, you will report to and perform duties as requested by the Maintenance Manager. All tools are provided!

 

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service to all customers, staff and stakeholders. 

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent general building maintenance skills.
  • Experience in commercial facility maintenance (healthcare experience highly desirable).
  • Strong communication skills—oral, written, and computer literacy.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and adapt across multiple trade areas.
  • Understanding of OH&S requirements and a commitment to quality improvement.
  • Current unrestricted driver’s license.

Highly Regarded Skills & Experience

  • Trade qualification.
  • Previous experience in a hospital maintenance environment.
  • Contractor supervision experience
