The Opportunity
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Speech Pathologists to join our team on a casual basis at Joondalup Health Campus.
These roles provide clinical backfill/leave cover across inpatient wards within an acute and subacute hospital setting, offering variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to work within a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to an adult caseload presenting with swallowing and/or communication disorders associated with conditions such as stroke, progressive neurological diseases, respiratory illness, and head and neck cancer.

About You
Job requirements - What we are looking for
IMPORTANT: Ensure you address each of these job requirements in your application – refer to ‘How to apply’:
- A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) as a practising clinician
- Demonstrated ability to assess, diagnose, and manage adult patients presenting with a wide range of swallowing and communication disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time management and the ability to manage a varied caseload
- Confidence working independently within a dynamic and fast-paced clinical environment
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
- Understanding of quality improvement processes and accreditation standards
Desirable:
- Previous experience managing an adult caseload within a hospital setting
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including Equal Opportunity and Workplace Health and Safety
