About the Role
The ICU/CCU/HDU provides care for a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions. The ICU has 6 ventilated beds and 5 HDU/CCU beds, provides specialised care for patients who require constant monitoring, intensive nursing care and advanced respiratory, cardiac and renal support therapies.
As a Registered Nurse you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided. In this role you will report to the Nurse Unit Manager.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skill set with experience in Critical Care. Possessing excellent time management and well-developed clinical problem-solving skills will be key to your success in this role.
You will also bring;
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Essential Criteria - Critical Care experience minimum of 2 years
- Prior experience in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment and autonomously as required
- Advanced communication and customer service skills
Remuneration
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $40.24 - $56.52 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RHC Nurses & Midwives - RN Level 1, gr1-gr8).

Requirements
- Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
