Registered Nurse – Scrub Scout – Westmead Private Hospital

Permanent Part Time

The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Scrub Scout Registered Nurses to join our Theatres Department to Westmead Private Hospital. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care. 

We are seeking experienced Scrub Nurses with a focus on working within, but not limited to Orthopaedics, Neuro/Spine surgery, and Cardiac Specialties. This is also a fantastic opportunity for those who want to expose themselves to a broad range of clinical specialities.

What you’ll bring:

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum two (2) years Scrub Scout experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a supportive service.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong customer service focus
  • Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient.
  • Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster

Remuneration

A base hourly rate ranging from $40.24 - $56.52 plus superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW, RHC Nurses & Midwives, RN L1/Gr 1-8)

Requirements 

  • Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
