GP Liaison Officer – 2025 Part-Time Opportunities

We are excited to offer the flexibility to attract two part-time GP Liaison Officers to work together as a cohesive team. Join Australia’s largest private health care provider at Warringal Private Hospital, owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care.

About the Role

This key position reports directly to the hospital CEO, with additional reporting requirements to the Doctor Engagement Manager, and focuses on building relationships with doctors, marketing hospital services, and driving referral growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to develop and implement strategies that support growth in key specialties.
• Promote specialists and foster referrals through GP practice visits and a CPD program.
• Develop targeted communications to profile medical specialists and services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing hospital specialists and GP practices across the territory.
• Identify opportunities to advance business objectives and accelerate results.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and interactions using a CRM.
• Provide monthly reports evaluating the effectiveness of activities and demonstrating ROI through increased referrals.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years’ recent experience in health care sales, practice BDM or liaison.
• Experience working with specialists, GPs and other health care practitioners.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets / business growth.
• Ability to effectively engage with key stakeholders in the health care industry.
• Experience using data to monitor the market, build a pipeline of opportunities, and create growth strategies.
• Skilled in cold calling and influencing referrer groups.

Desirable

• Experience in the private health care sector.
• Event management experience.

Additional Details

• Start Date: January 2025
• This role requires flexibility for work outside normal business hours.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are essential.
