About the Role
The Endoscopy Unit is situated within The Day Surgery Unit at St George Private Hospital. It consists of 3 procedure rooms, and provides a range of procedures, such as diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional (POEM, ERCP, EUS, ESD/EMR) endoscopic procedures as well as paediatric and special needs dental.
Monday to Friday, flexibility with 6,8,10-hour shifts. The unit is open from 0600 am to 2130 pm (applicant needs to be available during these hours).
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced Registered or Enrolled Nurse with a positive attitude will enable you to work effectively alongside our team of professionals and independently as required.
You will also demonstrate:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Enrolled Nurses IV qualified
- Minimum 2 years post graduate experience
- Relevant nursing experience in Endoscopy, Theatres, Recovery and/or Anaesthetics favourable
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
Must be a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurses to be successful. Enrolled Nurses that are currently studying to become a Registered Nurse will not be considered at this time.
Remuneration
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from;
Registered Nurse $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $72,420.40- $101,704.72]
Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed) $32.96 - $35.88 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW EN gr1-thereafter) [FTE $65,128.96 - $70,898.88]

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
