An exciting and challenging opportunity has become available for a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team of supportive professionals passionate about providing the best quality care for our patients.
We are looking for experienced staff who can work at a senior level and can support our busy team and fast-paced service.
About the Role
This opportunity will see you working with our rehabilitation inpatients and outpatients. Being part of dedicated allied health and clinical team that provides a variety of rehabilitation programs including orthopaedic, pain management and reconditioning following complex medical admissions or surgical intervention.
Clinically you will provide Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions within the speciality area of in-patient rehabilitation, providing therapy in both individual and group settings whilst developing appropriate discharge plans within a multidisciplinary team.
You will be supported by the Allied Health Manager and receive regular clinical supervision as well as monthly Professional Development opportunities within the Allied health team.
About You
You will be an Occupational Therapist with prior post-graduate experience ideally obtained within an acute or rehabilitation setting.
You will demonstrate:
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent with AHPRA registration
- Sound clinical reasoning and clinical decision-making skills.
- Previous experience working in an acute or rehabilitation / hospital setting
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities and workloads
- Confidently work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexible and positive approach to work
- Hospital experience necessary
Remuneration: Grade 2 as per Ramsay Health Care Victoria Health Professions Enterprise Agreement

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
