Wollongong Private Hospital are seeking an Operational Manager to join our Team.

About the Role
As our Operational Manager, you will fulfil a key leadership role that is accountable for the efficient and effective management of all human and material resources within Clinical Services. This will see you responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating practices, processes and services within our site.
In this role you will work with and support other managers in achieving excellence in care delivery in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
This is a hands on role requiring an exceptional candidate that can lead, coach, and inspire others through their actions and work alongside our team of clinical employees.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced Registered Nurse with a broad range of clinical skills. Your positive attitude will enable you to work effectively alongside our team of professionals and independently as required. In addition, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to care for our patients in line with our Ramsay core values.
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and extensive clinical skills and experience
- Sound understanding of contemporary Human Resources Management practices
- Ability to effectively plan and manage financial, human and material resources
- Ability to act as an effective role model in the area of clinical practice
- Demonstrated understanding of current relevant guidelines, regulations and standards
Desirable
- Ability to lead and motivate others
- Post graduate qualifications in a clinical specialty area
- Post graduate qualifications in Health Administration and/or Management
- Previous experience in a management position
- Sound Computer skills in MS Office programs (Word, Excel & Outlook)
