About the Role
As a Business Support Officer, you are responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to patients and their families upon their arrival at the hospital.
Responsibilities include:
- Receptionist and Administrative tasks
- Processing patient excesses and cash handling
- Liaison with Health Funds regarding patients’ insurance cover
- Processing of confidential Patient Data
- Processing patient Informed Financial Consents and Estimates
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a strong administrative skillset and a passion for customer service and enjoys being part of a busy environment.
You will also bring:
- Demonstrated ability to deal courteously with people by telephone and in person
- Basic computer skills and general clerical experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team orientated environment
- Demonstrated ability to function calmly under pressure
- Understanding of and commitment to principles of confidentiality
- Exceptional attention to detail.
Remuneration
On offer is base annual salary ranging from 50k-60k dependent on skills and experience.

Requirements
- Must provide a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
