About the role and you

The Clinical Trials Coordinator ensures that a high quality, professional and efficient research service is consistently provided in accordance with Good Clinical Practice and appropriate clinical trial regulations. 

  • Registered or Enrolled Nurse currently authorised to practice by AHPRA, or equivalent allied health or science qualification.
  • Strong prior experience in a research or clinical environment, including experience in the conduct and coordination of clinical trials, such as supporting patient recruitment, screening, and enrolment, handling study documentation and data entry, and preparing for and participating in monitoring visits and audits
  • Demonstrated understanding of clinical trials methodology and knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) requirements
  • Ability to develop rapport with patients and their families in stressful situations
  • Experience working with busy clinicians
  • Proven ability to establish relationships, influence, and work in partnership with stakeholders and employees at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to pursue challenging goals whilst successfully managing competing priorities
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and legislation related to human research ethics and research governance within Australia
  • Proficient in computer software, electronic data collection platforms and clinical trial management systems.

Requirements
