    Biomedical Engineer

New opportunity has become available for Full Time or Part Time Biomedical Engineers to join the team servicing the Greenslopes Private Hospital.

The main responsibilities of this position entail the documentation, maintenance, testing and repair of biomedical equipment within the relevant standards and guidelines.

 

Skills and Experience

As the successful candidate, you will also be available for occasional duties at our sister facility, St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital, as well as demonstrate the following:

    • Degree in biomedical engineering or equivalent and relevant qualification
    • Demonstrated understanding of fault finding techniques, relevant industrial standards and the use and function of biomedical equipment
    • Prior relevant work experience is desirable
    • Restricted electrical work license or progressing towards one
    • Ability to plan and coordinate workload
    • Strong customer focus

Remuneration:

A salary rate ranging from $80k-$118k + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
