The Opportunity
Ramsay Clinic New Farm is seeking a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Coordinator to effectively support the National Safety Team and National Safety Manager in the management of the company’s safety management system and the promotion of work health and safety at Ramsay Clinic New Farm.
As a WHS Coordinator, you will facilitate and coordinate the clinics safety and risk management portfolio, ensuring alignment with the corporate and business unit goals. You will support the clinics executive and management team in fulfilling its WHS legislative responsibilities by implementing the RamAusSMS (Risk and Safety Management System).
This position will be permanent part-time – 32 hours a fortnight, reporting directly to the QLD Safety Manager.

- Strong technical skillset, with a keen focus on process improvement
- Proven ability to work across a multi-layered organisation, providing advice and education
- Able to efficiently influence stakeholders and drive quality improvement initiatives
Your Skills and Experience
- Qualifications in Work Health and Safety (minimum Certificate IV)
- Demonstrated knowledge in relevant WHS legislation and ability to meet WHS targets
- Understanding of and experience in applying customer focused safety, controls assurance, quality management principles and continuous improvement methodology
- Commitment to the achievement of excellent outcomes, with a strong sense of accountability and customer service
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment
- Experience within the health industry or a large organisation
- Fire Safety Advisor
- Experience within the health industry or a large organisation
- Fit testing experience
Remuneration
A base annual salary of $100k - $110k pro rata + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
