GP Liaison Officer
Albury Wodonga Private Hospital, West Albury
The Opportunity
This key position, reporting directly to the hospital CEOs in collaboration with the Doctor Engagement Manager, will be responsible for doctor engagement, marketing hospital services and referral growth. This is a permanent part time role.
Your duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Collaborate with the team to develop and execute cohesive strategies that support growth in key specialties.
- Promote specialists and build referrals through GP practice visits and a CPD program.
- Develop targeted communications to profile new and existing medical specialists and services.
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing GP practices in our catchment.
- Maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders to advance business goals.
- Identify and leverage opportunities to accelerate results and meet stakeholder needs.
- Maintain and grow our GP database, ensuring accurate and detailed records.
- Provide monthly reports to evaluate effectiveness of activities and demonstrate ROI through increased referrals.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a business development or similar role in health care.
- Understanding of medical specialists and the relationship with referrers including GPs, other specialists, and health care professionals.
- Strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to effectively engage with key stakeholders in the health care industry.
- Experience using data to monitor the market, build a pipeline of opportunities, and create growth strategies.
- Experience with cold calling and influencing referrer groups.
It is also desirable that the successful candidate have:
- Experience in the private health care sector.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Marketing or Health.
- Event management experience.

The Hospital
Ramsay Health Care in the Border region manages the Albury Wodonga Private Hospital and The Border Cancer Hospital.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
