About the Role
Joining our team as a Patient Care Assistant, you will provide support and assistance to the wards and greater hospital, including theatres, and will involve:
Contributing to providing a safe environment for patients, staff and Visiting Medical Practitioners, your role will involve, but is not limited to;
- Transport of patients from and to various locations throughout hospital.
- Assist with patient manual handling with the use of aides.
- Porter’s patients, including to the mortuary if required.
- Assist with response to emergencies.
- Assist with pre-operative patient shave’s.
- Cleans area’s and equipment as required within the hospital.
- Carries out other duties as directed by the Patient Transport Manager.

Essential Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
