About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Clinical Education Team at Greenslopes Private Hospital. The role is a permanent part-time contract (64 hours per fortnight).
You will be providing education and clinical expertise to our staff in the Intensive Care Unit under the direction of the Nurse Educator.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Delivering education plans for the provision of the highest standards of patient care.
- Facilitating department based training and clinical competency assessments.
- Providing clinical support to our nursing teams.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring exceptional time management skills, be highly organised and flexible to accommodate educational needs across different shifts (as required). You will have a committed and proactive approach to professional development, demonstrated experience in mentoring clinical staff and be an exceptional and positive role model.
Essential criteria:
- Relevant Nursing Registration with AHPRA
- Three (3) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in Intensive Care
- Proven competency in Advanced Life Support
- Proven competency with invasive medical devices i.e. ventilation
- Previous experience in an education role is an advantage
- Post Graduate qualification in the one or more of the relevant specialties (or working towards)
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment is desirable.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
