About The Role
You must be passionate and enthusiastic about being in the front line dealing with, the public, our patients and our staff. You must also enjoy a varied and fast paced administration role. The successful Applicant would need to be flexible and have strong interpersonal and time management skills.
Your Skills and Experience
- Perform a broad range of administrative duties including:
- Managing a busy reception desk
- Answering phone calls, emails, and faxes
- Preparing admission and discharge paperwork
- Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records.
- Perform health fund checks and conduct informed finance consent.
- Management the collection of excesses/co payments
- Coordinate with staff from other departments.
- Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry, billing, banking, and stationary orders
Desirable:
- Demonstrated minimum 1 year experience in a hospital/medical administrative position
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience ideally Zedmed, is highly desired, though not essential.
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $32.29 + superannuation + levels of experience and qualifications.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
