The Opportunity

In this role you will be direct support to the Perioperative Manager and will assist in ensuring the efficient and effective management of all human & material resources within the department. The role encompasses planning, implementing and evaluating all practices, processes and clinical services of the unit.

You will also facilitate the smooth running of the department and operating sessions, coordinating the continuum of care relating directly to surgical/anaesthetic intervention to provide an optimal surgical outcome for patients in the perioperative unit.

This role will suit either an experienced perioperative clinical manager or an experienced perioperative nurse looking to progress their career into clinical leadership.

 

Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical leadership skillset and a passion for the provision of the highest standard of clinical care as well a focus on customer service in line with Ramsay's core values.

You will also bring:

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • 5 years minimum relevant experience as an RN in the perioperative environment.
  • Relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications and/or management qualifications will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent people skills, the ability to manage change and the complexities of the perioperative environment.
  • Clinical leadership or management experience will be highly regarded.
  • Ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate a continuous improvement program.
  • Excellent time management skills

 

Remuneration

On offer is base hourly rate of $64.56 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (Nurse/Mid Unit Manager Lv1)
