About the Role:

We seek an enthusiastic and motivated Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a comprehensive physiotherapy service in an exciting period of growth for The Avenue Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

The Avenue Private Hospital is a 152 bed acute surgical hospital located in the inner-city suburb of Windsor. The Avenue Hospital is a leader in acute orthopaedics with more than 2,000 joints completed last year. The Avenue is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global provider of private and primary care clinic with over 70 Australian sites employing over 34,000 people. About you:

You are a driven and flexible professional who thrives in a fast-paced acute care environment. Your strong interpersonal skills, clinical expertise, team-orientated approach enables you to deliver exceptional patient centre care.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective management of a busy and diverse caseload
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff and students
  • Participate in quality improvement and innovation initiatives

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Registration as a physiotherapist with AHPRA
  • Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in an acute setting
  • Recent, relevant experience within an acute orthopaedic environment
  • A commitment to high quality patient care
  • Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills

Renumeration: Grade 2 (year level dependent on experience) – (RHC VIC Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement).

 

Requirements:

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
