The Opportunity
This is fantastic for an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a strong customer focus to fill a Patient Service Assistant role in our busy hospital. This role will see you working with an assisting clinical staff, and completing orderly tasks such as:
- Transporting patients between wards and departments
- Cleaning and linen / waste removal
- Fetch and carry equipment and supplies.
Your Skills and Experience
- Possess Certificate lll in Health Service Assistance
- Demonstrated experience as Patient Services Assistant / Hospital Orderly
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effective within a team environment and independently
- Be available for a range of shifts across a 7-day rotating roster (although most shifts will be PM Mon – Fri).
- A strong willingness to learn and develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures
- Motivated and positive with a high level of attention to detail.
