The Opportunity
The Clinical Nurse – Scrub/Scout role is an advanced level Registered Nurse who acts as a clinical and professional resource in all facets of caring for the patient whilst problem solving within the clinical setting.
The Clinical Nurse contributes to, and participates in:
- The education of all graduates and novice staff.
- Participate and be involved in department orientation, in-service and clinical programs.
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members.
The flexibility to work a rotating roster including afternoon and evening shifts will be crucial to this role.
Your Skills and Experience
- Minimum three (3) years post-grad clinical experience in Scrub/Scout Nursing.
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Passionate mentor with the ability to lead and support our team.
- Proven ability to always act as a positive role model and as a professional.
- Postgraduate qualification(s) in a relevant perioperative speciality (highly regarded).

The Gastroenterology and Day Procedures department at Greenslopes Private Hospital provides services across 10 Procedure Rooms of which 3 are surgical theatres specialising in oral, maxillofacial and plastics.

Requirements
