Nurse Unit Manager to join Mitcham Private Hospitals’ leadership team!

 

About the Role

Our 6-bed Early Parenting Centre offers a unique opportunity for a Nurse Unit Manager to lead our specialised unit, providing care for infants aged 8 weeks to 12 months. This role involves supporting sleep and settling techniques in collaboration with a dedicated multidisciplinary team."

The successful candidate will oversee a team of Enrolled, Registered nurses and midwives, assisting with the daily management of 5-night inpatient program for sleep and settling.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse / Midwife
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a leadership or management nursing role
  • Recent paediatric / infant experience essential
  • Post-graduate qualifications not required, but favourable
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and mentorship skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required

 

Remuneration: 

On offer is a base hourly rate of $66.09 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.

Requirements
