The Opportunity
We are seeking an Administration Officer to join our team at Albury Wodonga Private Hospital. This role will see you supporting multiple areas of our hospital. As an Administration Officer, you will be a highly organised, enthusiastic professional who enjoys working in a fast paced environment with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role is primarily a reception role where you will be responsible for welcoming and assisting patients upon arrival for admission, manage general enquires, process patient discharges and data entry. You will also be responsible for effectively performing other administrative duties in line with our Ramsay Core Values to meet the needs of our customers and clinicians. Our hours of business are 6.00am to 7pm Monday to Friday.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will be a well-presented individual with highly developed communication and organisational skills. Your strong administration skillset, attention to detail and accuracy will be key to this role as will your ability to manage conflicting priorities working in a fast-paced environment.
You will also bring:
- Previous medical administration experience in healthcare setting highly regarded.
- Ability to work autonomously as part of a team where required.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to maintain smooth operations.
- Managing admissions and discharges, records, and correspondence efficiently.
- Assisting with day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
- Must be available to work between the hours of 6.00am and 7.00pm, Monday to Friday
