Do you have a passion for food and ready to bring your culinary skills to a meaningful setting? We are looking for enthusiastic culinary professionals to join our vibrant Catering Services Team.
About the Roles
As a Casual Cook/Chef, you will help prepare nutritious, delicious meals for patients, staff, doctors, our on-site café, and special functions—working across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
As Head Chef, you will support the Catering Manager in leading our state-of-the-art kitchen. This hands-on leadership role focuses on delivering exceptional food quality and service, while helping to shape and develop the department's operations.

You will possess:
- A strong understanding of food hygiene standards and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) requirements.
- Proven experience in food preparation for individuals and group functions.
- High standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- A positive, team-focused attitude with a strong work ethic.
- The ability to lead or support your team to maintain consistent, high-quality service.
- Ongoing and unrestricted work rights in Australia (please note sponsorship is not available).
Head Chef Role:
- Commercial Cookery Trade Certificate
- Experience in workforce management is essential
- Minimum 3 years Head Chef or similar experience
- Experience in purchasing, product specification, stock control, receipt and a computerised menu system
- Experience within a hospital, hotel or bulk catering background is desirable

Requirements
