Ramsay Health Care is seeking a Facilities Manager to join our Network in this Permanent Full-Time opportunity.

 

The Opportunity

As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for the engineering and maintenance management of the two facilities that make up our network. This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilise your extensive facility management skills to ensure that our buildings, plant and equipment are maintained to appropriate regulations and standards.

You will be responsible for the preventative and ad hoc facility maintenance requirements which are completed by both in-house personnel and contracted service providers. Integral to your success will be proven ability to manage competing requirements, meet deadlines and engage with stakeholders to achieve required outcomes.

With a variety of facilities in the network of two hospitals you will be able to show your skills in managing both older and newer buildings and plant to meet required standards and budgets.  This full time role will require you to spend time across both hospital sites.   

A number of local developments and plant upgrade projects are in the pipeline and your leadership in these will be a challenging but rewarding opportunity to support our hospital teams to ensure that we can continue to provide the highest level of care to our patients.

 

About You

 Essential Criteria:

  • Trade or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Qualifications
  • Experience in commercial or hospital facility management, including development and implementation of preventive maintenance plans
  • Previous experience in a maintenance/leadership role
  • Demonstrative knowledge of building codes and legislative adherence
  • Proven experience in external contractor management, including negotiation of maintenance contracts
  • Experience managing defect and warranty periods
  • Demonstrated understanding of OH&S requirements & accreditation/certification processes including continuous improvement principles
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage stakeholders
  • Competency in online database management and basic computer literacy
  • Demonstrated problem solving and time management skills
  • Previous hospital maintenance/facilities experience is highly desirable

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
