About the Role
We have multiple permanent part-time opportunities for Administration Officers to join our Administration Team at John Flynn Private Hospital.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality customer service and provide vital administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of hospital services. From welcoming patients and coordinating theatre bookings to managing accounts and general administration, you will be an integral part of a collaborative, professional, and supportive team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the patient admission and discharge process at our Front desk.
- Handling incoming calls and responding to patient, visitor, and staff enquiries.
- Managing patient admission papers and clinical notes.
- Assisting with accounts receivable/payable, cash handling, and banking.
About You
You are organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a passion for delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment. You have strong communication skills, enjoy working as part of a team, and can confidently interact with medical professionals and patients alike.
You will bring:
- Proven administrative experience, ideally in healthcare or a customer service environment.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude and commitment to teamwork.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Previous medical reception or ward clerk experience (highly regarded).

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
