About the Role
Our team at Greenslopes Private Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Administration Support Officer to join our dynamic administrative leadership team. This is your opportunity to develop as a leader, guiding and supporting the teams in our Emergency Centre and Switchboard.
This is a chance to use and grow your experience as an upcoming leader, to solve complex problems, mentor others and play a pivotal role in Ramsay’s purpose of ‘People caring for people’.
You will be expected to fill in shifts where needed, demonstrating flexibility and a hands-on approach.
Must be available between Hours: 7:00am – 6pm Monday – Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- You will serve as the primary point of contact for all patient and staff inquires in both departments.

- Provide outstanding customer service, demonstrating a proactive and patient focused approach, challenging the status quo to always find a better way to be better.
- Address complex issues and conflicts that arise, and act as the key problem-solver.
- Effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks in adynamic, high pressure environment.
- A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative tasks.
- Demonstrate a flexible and hands on approach, learning our team’s administrative roles, to assist in filling shifts if required.
About You
You are a highly organised and adaptive professional with demonstrated experience in a supervisor or leadership capacity within a customer focused environment, preferably in a hospital or medical environment.
- Proven ability to multi-tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience with patient management systems is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is a must.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
