We are seeking a motivated and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our welcoming team at Noosa Hospital on a part-time basis (40 hours per fortnight).

About the Role

As a key member of our Medical Centre team, you will help ensure every patient enjoys a smooth, professional, and caring experience.

Your day will include:

  • Managing reception and administrative duties with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Handling patient enquiries via phone and email with empathy and professionalism.
  • Coordinating bookings, billing, and medical records.
  • Supporting clinicians and nursing staff to deliver seamless patient care.

About You

You are a positive, self-motivated individual who brings warmth and professionalism to every interaction. You will take pride in being reliable, detail-oriented, and compassionate, with a genuine passion for patient care.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in a medical reception or administrative role.
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred).
  • Experience with Genie or BlueChip software and Medicare/HICAPS billing (desirable).

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
