About the Role

Pindara Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our dedicated Cardiac Medical Ward team. In this leadership role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care while supporting and guiding your team under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a clinical resource and role model in the delivery of cardiac nursing care.
  • Supervise and support staff, delegating care appropriately based on skill mix.
  • Lead shifts on afternoons and weekends and relieve the Nurse Unit Manager when required.
  • Contribute to audits, assessments, and quality initiatives in line with Australian Standards of Care.
  • Collaborate with medical practitioners and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

 

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum two years of experience in cardiac or critical care nursing.
  • Proven experience as in-charge of shift.
  • Strong clinical decision-making, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in critical care or cardiovascular nursing are desirable.

Remuneration: Base hourly rate of $54.72 – $58.82 plus superannuation, dependent on experience and qualifications (exclusive of penalties or allowances).

Requirements

  • Provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
