We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse to join our 3F Ward team. This advanced nursing role provides clinical leadership, expert guidance and high-quality care across gynaecology, urology, urogynaecology and plastics. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities and a commitment to patient-centred care.
As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a key role in mentoring staff, supporting education programs and contributing to ongoing quality improvement across the ward. This permanent part-time role offers 45 hours per fortnight.
About the Opportunity
Join a collaborative, patient-focused team and act as a clinical resource across urology and renal care.
You will:
- Provide expert knowledge in urology, gynaecology, plastics and urogynaecology
- Foster a positive, supportive and cohesive team culture
- Supervise, guide and develop clinical staff
- Contribute to orientation, in-service education and competency programs
- Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Your Skills and Experience
You will be a strong communicator and supportive mentor who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
You will also have:
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum five years of acute post-graduate nursing experience.
- Extensive experience in urology, gynaecology, plastics or related specialities.
- Ability to work a rotating roster, including on-call.
- Strong understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a designated portfolio.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Understanding of accreditation processes and quality frameworks.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a Clinical Nurse role.
- Relevant post-graduate qualification.

Requirements
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
