North West Private Hospital is seeking dynamic, enthusiastic nurses to join our team of passionate professionals and help uphold Ramsay’s high standard of patient care.

We are looking for committed Registered Nurses, Endorsed Enrolled Nurses and Anaesthetic technicians who are eager to make a real difference to patients and their families. In this role, you will work collaboratively within our highly skilled theatre team, supporting safe and efficient hospital operations and contributing to consistently exceptional patient experiences.

About the Role

As a member of our Theatre Anaesthetics team, you will support patients throughout their perioperative journey, working closely with anaesthetists, surgeons, and the wider multidisciplinary team.

This position offers exposure to a broad range of surgical specialties, ongoing professional development, and the opportunity to enhance your skills in a specialised area of nursing.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.
• Monitor and assess patients, responding proactively to clinical changes.
• Assist with procedures and contribute to informed care planning.
• Support and educate patients and their families.
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support quality improvement activities.

Your Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will be flexible to work early and late shifts, including on-call components.

You will also bring:

• Strong clinical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• A minimum of 1 year of acute hospital experience.
• A Diploma of Anaesthetic Technology (or similar) as an Anaesthetic Technician or Nurse.
• Current Australian working rights.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Post-graduate perioperative qualifications (highly regarded).

Remuneration

• Registered Nurse: $41.89 – $54.01 base hourly rate + superannuation (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2–gr8), exclusive of penalties and allowances.
• Endorsed Enrolled Nurse: $35.78 – $39.96 base hourly rate + superannuation (QLD EEN Level 1–2 gr1–gr6), exclusive of penalties and allowances.

About Us

North West Private Hospital is a fully accredited surgical, obstetric, and medical hospital situated 15 mins north west of the Brisbane CBD in the leafy suburb of Everton Park. The hospital is licensed for 150 beds and has recently undergone a $55 million upgrade that has included the incorporation of additional beds, two additional operating theatres with advanced Stryker equipment, additional four oncology chairs, a multideck car parking building (with free parking) and a new separate specialist consulting suite building on site
