Are you an experienced ENT Scrub/Scout Nurse looking to step into a pivotal leadership role?

Our Theatre team at Linacre Private Hospital is seeking a senior Nurse to join our dynamic and support 5 Operative Theatre department.

Working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager, you will contribute to the day-to-day operational management of the Unit, including rostering, driving staff development and providing hands on clinical support to staff.

This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your leadership capabilities and grow you career within a collaborative Theatre environment.

 

About You

You will be a passionate mentor to your team and have the capacity to inspire them to succeed. While leadership or management experience is desirable, this role will also suit an experienced Nurse looking to step up into a leadership position.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in an acute healthcare setting, with 3 in a ENT Scrub/Scout role
  • Post-graduate certificate desirable though not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Availability to work across a rotating, 7-day roster

 

Remuneration

A base hourly rate ranging from $55.92 - $57.76 + superannuation + applicable penalty rates. Based on experience level and qualifications (VIC ANUM/AMUM Year 1-2).

The Hospital

Requirements

  • Provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the last 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
